Important notes

Your DSM is working fine without having to update. The system evaluates service statuses and system settings to determine whether it needs to update to this version.
Depending on your Synology NAS model, this update will restart the device.
Users of HD6500 can now create a Btrfs volume of up to 1 PB. This update automatically converts existing volumes that use the Btrfs (Peta Volume) file system to Btrfs. However, to create a volume larger than 200 TB, a RAID 6 storage pool and at least 64 GB of system memory are still required.

Die kwam inmiddels netjes binnen via DSM....

Ik had gisteren nog steeds geen e-mail ontvangen en keek daarom zelf maar even op Configuratiescherm -> "Bijwerken en herstellen". Daar stond wel dat update 5 beschikbaar is. Waarom heb ik daar dan geen e-mail van gehad?

Geklikt op [Instellingen voor bijwerken], tot mijn verbazing zag ik dat er alleen op Zondag op updates wordt gecontroleerd. Volgens mij heb ik dat niet zelf zo ingesteld, komt dat misschien door de restore vanaf DSM 6 backup? In ieder geval toch maar even veranderd in een dagelijkse check. Vandaag kreeg ik wel een e-mail dat er een update beschikbaar was.

Vervolgens de update geïnstalleerd, dat verliep verder goed.
