Titel: Seagate 3TB wordt als 2TB herkend
Bericht door: DHOM1970 op 26 maart 2013, 17:35:07
My Seagate St3000DM001 is a b3TB drive but recognized as 2TB (1895GB).
Can I format this HD in Synology DS112J hoping it will be recognized as the 3TB it is ?
My WIN7 system does not support 3TB ....

You can format and use it in your NAS, but of you put it back in the PC it will still be seen as 2TB. This is probably a limitation of your bios.
