32 bit en 64 bit

Hallo,

Ik heb een samsung 1640 printer die ik in het netwerk wil hangen. Ik heb diverse operating systems, alle windows (vista xp w7 en ook nog 32 en 64 bit door elkaar) Hoe organiseer ik nu dat de verschillende drivers (http://www.samsung.com/nl/consumer/pc-p ... ab=support) op de ds110j komen te staan of moet dat anders? Ik krijg nu met w7 64 wel prints maar met andere os's / bit verhoudingen niet..

Hoe los ik dit op?

Geen reacties maar mogelijk wel meer probleemeigenaren. Ik ben zelf inmiddels het verst gekomen via de handleiding:

Access Printer from Windows
The best way to access DiskStation's printing service is to set up the connection to the printer with Synology Assistant. Refer to its Help for detailed instructions.

Type 3. LPR Port (Recommended)
Click Start button on the desktop. Select Settings/Printers and Faxes.
Double click on Add Printer. Click Next to continue.
Select Local Printer attached to this computer. Click Next to continue.
Select Create a new port. Choose Standard TCP/IP Port from the pull down menu, and click Next to continue.
Input the IP address of the DiskStation. Click Next to continue.
Select Device Type: Custom > Settings…. Click Next to continue.
Select LPR for protocol; Enter usbprinter for Queue Name, and check the LPR Byte Counting Enabled checkbox. Click OK to continue.
Select printer driver and proceed.
